Carole Kidwell Funeral Service

Carole Sue Kidwell
July 12, 1942 – December 17, 2024

Carole Sue Kidwell, born on July 12, 1942 in Denver, Colorado to Fred and Dorothy Inselman, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2024 in Aurora, Colorado after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.

A proud graduate of East High School, Carole went on to earn her degree from Metro State University. She built a fulfilling career as a cosmetologist and owned her own shop in Coal Creek Canyon while lovingly raising her three children: Margie Kidwell, Buddy Luff, and Staci Smith.

Carole found the love of her life in Brad Kidwell. Together they shared a beautiful marriage until Brad’s passing in 2016, also due to Parkinson’s disease. A woman of many passions and talents, Carole was an avid baseball fan who delighted in scoring games and tracking statistics.

Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. As a founding member of Colorado Community Church, Carole served as a deacon, greeter, usher, AWANA teacher, Dare to Care, Hope House, and Lifeboat 13. She organized of ministries like the women’s bunco ministry and women’s lock-in retreats.

Carole embraced fellowship through the Ladybug Red Hatters as their Queen and later found solace among the Merry Widows group following Brad’s passing. Her warmth, dedication, and unwavering faith enriched countless lives within her community.

May Carole’s memory serve as a source of comfort and inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

In leu of flowers, the family would ask donations made to an organization that supported her in her Parkinson’s journey.
