Community Bible Study (CBS)

Wednesdays, Aug 28, 2024-May 7, 2025 | 9:30-11:30am | Youth Auditorium

Men and women, we hope you'll join us Wednesday mornings during the 2024-25 year! We love seeing what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word. Together we explore the Bible and what it tells us about the God who has woven His story through history and is present with us now.

We will be studying the Book of Mathew.

Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.

Our end-of-the-year Sharing Day will be May 7, 2025.

Cost is $35 per person and childcare is available for children 0-6.

Currently studying the Red Sea to the Jordan River (the books of Exodus, Leviticus and Numbers).

Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers tell the story of how God delivered His chosen people, the Israelites, from Egyptian slavery and established them as a new nation. But these books are not just history. They also tell the story of a holy God’s faithfulness to weak and sinful people like us. Some may be surprised by how practical the topics in these Old Testament books really are. Because of biblical themes like doubt and faith, complaining and grace, crisis and intercession, and failure and repentance, the opportunities for spiritual growth offered in this course are plentiful.
