Adam Horney Memorial Service

Adam Horney July 31, 1980 – March 19, 2026

Memorial Service: Friday, March 27 at 1:00pm. Colorado Community Church Worship Center.

Adam Joseph Horney, 45, of Centennial, Colorado passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 19th, 2026.

He was born a triplet on July 31st, 1980 in Denver, Colorado to Bob and Karel Horney.

While Adam had cerebral palsy, this came far down the list of characteristics defining him.

Adam was employed for 15 years at Arc Thrift Stores where he made many friends.

Adam’s life was filled with police ride-alongs, his guy group, volunteering at cop shops, his church community, anything Irish and the family he treasured. If you were in a room with Adam, it was only a matter of time before he was testing your sense of humor. He impacted people in ways most of us can only imagine through the program that is his namesake, Adam’s Camp, but also just because he was uniquely Adam. He loved and received love deeply.

He is survived by his parents, Bob and Karel, as well as his twin brother Jared Philip Horney and is preceded by his brother, Greg.
