Welcome our summer interns, Tyrone Copeland and Jenell Clarke. God has provided us with an abundant harvest of amazing candidates this year and these two have proven to be the cream of the crop! We’re so excited about them joining us this summer. Please be sure to pray for them as they prepare for a jam-packed summer of ministry and relationship-building

As a parent, you are the primary spiritual leader for your child. Our job (and privilege) in 3CYouth is to partner with you by providing support, resources, and opportunities to equip and empower you in your God-given calling. So each week we provide a quick summary of our teaching and discussion in Midweek, TheWKND, and Refuge so that you can have some follow-up conversations with your child!
Summer We didn't have TheWKND this past weekend because it was communion time! In light of the Fourth of July weekend, we focused as a church on our Declaration of Dependence on God! Check out the worship service from this past weekend and think through these questions:
|
|
|
- According to Jesus, where does true freedom come from? (John 8:34-38)
- We talked about being dependent on five attributes of God:
- His Word
- His Spirit
- His Comfort
- His Forgiveness
- His Will
- Which of these is most difficult for you? Which is the easiest?
- How can our country's emphasis on individual freedom get conflated with the freedom that we experience as Christians?

The FY25 Event Waiver With the change in our church database system, we are asking 3CYouth parents to complete this form if they anticipate their children participating any offsite events that require a waiver. It helps us to stay up to date on all the important things.

3CYouth Family -
We are past the half way point of the summer if you can believe it. In 3CYouth we enjoy a ten-week summer that started May 30 and ends August 7. That seventy days! And we're on day forty with one major trip left to go this upcoming week - high school camp at YoungLife's Crooked Creek Ranch.
So this past Wednesday we observed what has become one of our annual traditions - the Rockies game. We hop on the light rail at Florida Station and head downtown, then walk to Coors Field. Most kids don't even pay attention to the game (or know anything about baseball). But it's always a blast anyway to be part of such a fun American pastime right on the eve of America's birthday!
Above is a picture of the group from Union Station! Soak up the memories folks. Time is a thief! You wake up one day and POOF! It's behind you. Soak it all in while you can.
Grace & Peace,
sray
